Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using DharmPandit‘s platform and booking services.

By using DharmPandit: You agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform or book our services. Using our website or WhatsApp to book a Pandit Ji constitutes acceptance.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the DharmPandit website (dharmpandit.com), WhatsApp booking service, and all associated pooja services (“Services”). By accessing our website, submitting a booking form, or communicating with us via WhatsApp or phone, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

DharmPandit reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Our Services

DharmPandit is an online platform that connects families with verified, Vedic-trained Pandit Ji’s for religious ceremonies across Delhi NCR. Our services include:

  • Booking of verified Pandit Ji’s for 25+ types of poojas and sanskars
  • Muhurat calculation based on panchang, nakshatra, and birth details
  • All-inclusive samagri delivery to your doorstep (optional)
  • Same-day and emergency bookings for antim sanskar and urgent havans
  • Customer support in Hindi and English (24×7 for emergencies)

DharmPandit acts as an intermediary platform. Individual Pandit Ji’s are independent professionals who have been verified by our team but are not employees of DharmPandit.

Booking & Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only when DharmPandit explicitly confirms it via WhatsApp, SMS, or phone call. Submission of a booking form does not guarantee a Pandit Ji until confirmation is received.

  • Confirmations are typically sent within 30 minutes of your request
  • For same-day bookings, we confirm availability before accepting
  • Shubh muhurat is advised based on panchang; final responsibility for the chosen date rests with the user
  • Accurate contact information and address are the responsibility of the user

Dakshina & Payments

All pricing is displayed transparently at the time of booking. DharmPandit follows a fixed-dakshina model with no hidden charges.

  • Pooja charges range from ₹1,100 to ₹11,000 depending on type and duration
  • Payment is accepted via UPI, bank transfer, or cash at time of service
  • All-inclusive samagri packages must be paid in advance to confirm delivery
  • No additional amounts should be demanded by or given to the Pandit Ji beyond the confirmed dakshina

Important: If any Pandit Ji requests additional payment beyond the agreed amount, please report it to us immediately at +91-9643265355. We take such complaints seriously.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that religious occasions sometimes require changes. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 72+ hours before pooja: Full refund, no cancellation fee
  • 24–72 hours before pooja: 25% cancellation fee applies
  • Less than 24 hours before pooja: 50% cancellation fee applies
  • No-show (Pandit arrives, no one available): Full dakshina is chargeable
  • Emergency situations: We evaluate on a case-by-case basis with full empathy

Samagri delivery charges are non-refundable once the order has been dispatched.

Samagri & Delivery

For all-inclusive packages, DharmPandit delivers pooja samagri through trusted partner vendors. We make every effort to ensure timely delivery and correct items.

  • Delivery is available within our active service areas only
  • A delivery window of 2–4 hours before the pooja time is standard
  • If any samagri item is unavailable, an equivalent substitute will be provided
  • Customers must inspect samagri on delivery and report issues before the pooja begins

User Obligations

By using DharmPandit, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete booking information
  • Ensure a clean, respectful space is prepared for the Pandit Ji upon arrival
  • Treat our Pandit Ji’s with dignity and respect at all times
  • Not request rituals or mantras outside the agreed scope without discussion
  • Not use our platform to book services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
  • Not record or distribute pooja sessions without prior written consent

Pandit Conduct

DharmPandit holds its Pandits to the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct. Every Pandit Ji is expected to:

  • Arrive on time (at least 15 minutes before the muhurat)
  • Perform the complete ritual as per Vedic vidhi without shortcuts
  • Conduct themselves respectfully and courteously with all family members
  • Wear appropriate traditional attire for the ceremony
  • Not demand additional payment beyond the confirmed dakshina

Any breach of conduct should be reported to DharmPandit immediately. We will investigate and take appropriate action including removal from our platform.

Limitation of Liability

DharmPandit is a booking intermediary platform. While we make every effort to verify Pandit Ji’s and ensure service quality, we are not liable for:

  • The specific religious or spiritual outcomes of any pooja or ceremony
  • Delays caused by extreme weather, traffic, or force majeure events
  • Loss or damage to personal property during a pooja (keep valuables safely away)
  • Individual differences in rituals due to regional or family traditions

Our total liability in any dispute shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific booking in question.

Intellectual Property

All content on dharmpandit.com — including text, images, logos, service descriptions, and website design — is the intellectual property of DharmPandit and is protected under Indian copyright law.

  • You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute our content without written permission
  • Reviews and feedback you submit may be used by DharmPandit for marketing with your consent
  • The “DharmPandit” name and logo are registered trademarks

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

We encourage users to first contact our customer support team to resolve any dispute informally before pursuing legal action.
